Lincoln Bicentennial
Federal Hall, located at the intersection of Wall Street and Broad Street in New York City, is one of the most distinguished sites in American history. George Washington was inaugurated here as the country’s first President, making Federal Hall the birthplace of American government. Since then, it has served as a home to the first Congress, Supreme Court, and Executive Branch offices. In the winter of 2009, it housed the popular and highly visible Abraham Lincoln in New York exhibition that celebrated the bicentennial anniversary of the birth of the nation’s sixteenth president. To honor this milestone, Archigrafika created a dynamic and unified branding program which included a series of large-scale banners and title signs, designed with sensitivity to the Greco-Roman architecture of the historic environment, that called the public’s attention to the timely exhibition.
